Details
Warm, desert-toned stripes that run from pale sand to deep, burnished brown. The Camel brings together six species, African oak, cherry, padauk, maple, walnut and olive, each chosen for its colour and grain and arranged into warm, layered bands.
Every strip is hand-selected, then cut, arranged and glued so the stripes run cleanly across the full width of the board. It is planed and sanded smooth through progressively finer grits, with softly eased edges that feel good in the hand. This is a solid, one-of-a-kind piece made in my small workshop in the Netherlands, so the board in the photos is the exact board you'll receive.
At 26.5 centimeters square it is a handy size for chopping and prep, or for serving cheese, charcuterie and nibbles at the table.

Care
Hand wash with warm water and mild soap, then dry upright. Never put it in the dishwasher or leave it soaking. Re-oil now and then with food-safe mineral oil or board butter to keep it looking its best.
