The Sister — Walnut & Cherry Serving Board
The Sister — Walnut & Cherry Serving Board
Details
An elegant serving board, and one of a matching pair. The Sister brings together walnut, cherry, oak and ash in warm, flowing stripes, each strip chosen for its colour and grain.
Every strip is cut, arranged and glued by hand so the stripes run cleanly across the full width of the board. It is planed and sanded smooth through progressively finer grits, with softly eased edges that feel good in the hand. This is a solid, one-of-a-kind piece made in my small workshop in the Netherlands, so the board in the photos is the exact board you'll receive.
At 30 by 20.5 centimeters it is a lovely size for serving cheese, charcuterie and nibbles at the table. Looking for two that match? The Sisters set pairs this board with its twin.
